Mr. Wong (Bela Lugosi) appears to be a mild mannered Chinatown merchant, but appearances can be deceiving. By night he ruthlessly seeks the Twelve Coins of Confucius that will give him control of an entire Chinese province. With eleven of the twelve coins in his evil grasp, a bloody killing spree gets the attention of news hound Jason Barton (Wallace Ford) and his girlfriend Peg (Arlene Judge). The tenacious pair gets in over their head when they find Wong's headquarters.
